★ four chains · one bot ★

just
the tips.

A stablecoin tip-jar bot for Discord, Telegram, Twitch, and X. You configure it with your receive addresses — no keys, no seed, no custody. Your community tips direct from their own wallet. The bot just says thanks.

how the tipping works

it's 3 whole steps
01

Paste your address

You're the creator. Open the config, paste your XRPL receive address, deploy the bot to your platform. No keys. No seed phrase. The bot literally cannot send from it.

/tip !
02

Viewers tip direct

Someone in your chat wants to say thanks. They send XRPL stablecoin from their own wallet to your address, with an optional message in the memo. You never touch their funds. Neither do we.

03

Bot says thanks

The bot watches the ledger. When a tip lands, it reads the tipper's handle and memo right off the transaction and posts a thank-you in your chat. Real tokens. Real receipts. No IOUs.

a live demo, sort of

they send, you smile

Here's what it looks like from the inside. A viewer sends stablecoin straight from their wallet. The bot sees it land, reads their handle and message off the transaction itself, and posts a thank-you in your chat. No database. No custody. Just on-chain receipts.

oh my god. thank you both.
~ zero to live, actually ~

you configure, it deploys

Here's what happens when a creator opens justthetips.dev, fills out the configurator, and ends up with a running bot watching four chains at once. Six steps. No servers of ours. No keys of theirs ever leaving their laptop until they choose to deploy.

✦ What you're watching
The mustard parcel is the creator's bot — first their config, then the packaged bundle, then a running server. Red dashes trace where it moves. The red border is the creator's laptop: inside it, tokens and addresses never leave the browser. Once they click deploy, the bundle travels to their host of choice, and the bot starts watching XRPL, Base, Arbitrum, and Solana all at once.

Someone opens justthetips.dev
A creator — streamer, writer, podcast host, newsletter — lands on the site. They click Get The Bot. They're about to build their own stablecoin tip bot without writing a single line of code. No account. No signup. Nothing watching what they do.

for the operators

self-host the whole thing

Just The Tips is software, not a service. You run it on your own box, you paste in your own receive address, you hold your own licenses. We wrote the tricky bits. You fill in the boring bits.

~ the watcher ~

Ledger Observer

Subscribes to your address on the XRPL, catches incoming Payments as they land, pulls sender and memo straight off the transaction. No database required.

~ the trust ~

Receive-Only By Design

The bot only needs your public XRPL address. No keys, no seed phrase, no signing authority. It physically cannot move your funds. Neither can we.

~ the glue ~

Platform Adapters

Discord, Telegram, Twitch, X — thin plugins that post the thank-you message in your chat. Swap one out, write your own, disable any you don't use.

~ the knobs ~

Light Configuration

One env file. Your address. Your platform tokens. A message template you can override. That's the whole thing. No admin UI unless you want one.

~ the receipts ~

Memos As Messages

Tippers attach a note in their wallet's memo field. The bot reads it off the chain and includes it in the thank-you. Honest text, on-chain, forever.

~ the license ~

BSL 1.1 → Apache 2.0

Source-available. Run it in production for your own account, free. Flips to Apache 2.0 after four years, like Sentry.

~ when you're ready ~

get the bot

The configurator walks you through setup, bakes you a ready-to-run bundle, and hands it off. Or download the source directly if you'd rather wire it up yourself.

v0.2.0-alpha.1 · released April 20, 2026 · sha256: f225b855…8de6

Audit before you run it.

Three reading depths, pick one:

  • 5-minute smoke inspection. Open the zip. Search for network calls to unknown domains. Check package.json dependencies against npm advisories.
  • 30-minute tour. Read src/api/server.ts, then each chain adapter. You'll understand the whole bot.
  • Afternoon review. Every file, ~3000 lines. Genuinely readable.

AI review tools are welcome too. Paste the bot into Claude, ChatGPT, or any code-review assistant and ask "is anything suspicious here." Most will give you a useful answer.

See the hash file to verify your download matches.

an important note

we are software, not money

Just The Tips is code. It doesn't hold funds, accept fiat, mint stablecoins, or have opinions about your KYC policy. Your viewers send you stablecoin directly from their wallet to yours. The bot just watches and thanks. Whatever your local tipping rules are — those are yours to honour.

(we're just the tips. the rest is up to you.)

~ if this helped, pay it forward ~

We built this free. No fees, ever. If it's useful to you, tip the publishers the same way your community tips you. Give what you can, when you can.
